Many of our mental and emotional difficulties, including things as mundane as feeling stuck or scattered, or just extra-irritable can be traced to imbalances in brain chemistry, stress overload, and/or negative thought patterns. These things are correctable and there is no reason for living with them. Many individuals become so frustrated in their efforts to fix these issues that they just give up and decide it's just who they are. Choosing to define yourself by your least desirable traits is hardly making the most of your life's aspirations. There is no need to give in to your unhappiness.
